About

Mago Translations is a small group of multilingual friends who share a love for stories, languages, and the strange worlds found between the pages of a good novel.

We translate Asian webnovels and light novels into English—not as a business, but because we genuinely enjoy doing it. For us, every chapter is an opportunity to discover a new story, sharpen our language skills, and learn something from the cultures and languages behind the original work.

Our team comes from different linguistic backgrounds, and that is part of what makes Mago what it is. We each bring our own perspective, experience, and love of language to the table. What starts as a few lines of text can turn into hours of discussion over the right word, the right tone, or how to make a character's voice feel just as natural in English as it does in the original.

Why Mago?

We're here because we like stories, we like languages, and we like learning.

Some of us are improving languages we already know. Others are learning new ones. Translating lets us practice all of that while sharing stories we think deserve to be read by a wider audience.
